In a nutshell: what can you learn?

Conscious attention is the basis of every form of learning. ‘Mindfulness’, or practicing conscious, focused attention, influences children’s learning. But not just the learning.

You also increase self-confidence, creativity, compassion, the ability to perform tasks correctly and solve problems. The brain comes to rest, stress reactions decrease. There is calm. Calm and concentrated attention.

You can work with ‘Mindfulness Matters’ at both school and home in order to…

  • improve concentration
  • build up your confidence
  • develop more peace of mind and body
  • learn to control impulsive behaviour
  • learn to be kinder to yourself and others
  • better deal with sad moods
  • deal with exam stress
  • and practice with effective manners of communication. Listening is an art, solving conflicts too.
